How do I buy a listed or exchange quoted product?
The simplicity of Magellan’s listed and exchange quoted funds is that if an investor has a relationship with a stockbroker or a financial planner who can trade shares, or an online share trading account, then they can purchase units in the funds just like any other stock on the ASX – no paperwork is needed to buy or sell. All that is required is the ticker code of the Active ETF or Listed Investment Trust, which is generally a three or four letter code, and the desired amount of the investment in the investors cash account. The purchase is done the same way as any other listed security and settlement is after 2 days. Once confirmed, investors can then see the Active ETF or Listed Investment Trust in their share trading account alongside their other listed investments. Brokerage will vary depending on the platform or stockbroker used.
